Vibratory Polishing
Principle of vibratory finishing:
Vibratory finishing is a vibratory grinding process in which workpieces requiring deburring and polishing, along with abrasive media, water, and a polishing compound, are loaded into a vibratory finishing machine. Through the machine’s controlled vibrations, the workpieces and the abrasive media undergo relative motion and mutual friction, removing burrs protruding from the workpiece surface and edges while rounding sharp edges and achieving surface polishing.
Characteristics of vibratory finishing:
1. It employs the internationally advanced processing principles of helical flow and three-dimensional vibration.
2. Used for surface finishing of large‑batch, medium‑size parts.
3. After finishing, the original shape and dimensional accuracy are preserved, with surface roughness improved by 1 to 3 grades.
