Production capacity
Currently, the plant occupies 10,000 square meters and comprises three standardized production buildings. It is equipped with three fully automated production lines, one dedicated manual line for military‑grade products, and four specialized production lines tailored to specific research projects. The company has independently developed a complete suite of proprietary surface‑treatment additives for aluminum and magnesium alloys, covering all process steps and enabling direct mass production.

Founded in 1994, the company has long been engaged in contract processing services for metal conversion coatings. In 2011, it established a wholly owned subsidiary, Sanyong Gongda Technology Co., Ltd., which focuses on developing and marketing customer‑specific solutions and metal surface‑treatment technologies (including additives).
Technological R&D Advantages
Backed by a joint research team from Harbin Institute of Technology, the company is equipped with a testing center, an inspection center, and a 1,000-square-meter pilot‑scale production facility, delivering dozens of customized metal surface‑treatment solutions each year. Its services cover the surface‑treatment needs of aluminum, magnesium, titanium, copper, high‑temperature alloys, stainless steel, and other metals across aerospace, aviation, defense, and high‑end manufacturing sectors.
San Yong Company is currently a director unit of the China Surface Engineering Association, a director unit of the Metal Conversion Coating Branch of the China Surface Engineering Association, and the chairperson unit of the Harbin Metal Conversion Coating Association. It has obtained dual quality‑assurance certifications under the national military standard GJB 9001C and ISO 9001, and was among the first batch of enterprises in China to be approved for a Pollution Discharge Permit.
