Electropolishing and passivation of stainless steel
The figure shows comparative photographs of stainless steel before and after electropolishing and passivation; the small part is the post‑treatment sample, while the large part is the pre‑treatment sample.

Sanrong provides all the chemicals required for stainless steel surface treatment.
1. SY-120 Stainless Steel Electrolytic Polishing Agent
This solution addresses the issues of high labor intensity, dust pollution, and uneven surface finish inherent in the original mechanical polishing process. Following electrolytic polishing, the product achieves a uniform, mirror-like luster, with a passivated surface that maintains its bright, attractive appearance over time.
2. SY-572 Eco-friendly Stainless Steel Organic Passivation Agent
It causes no skin burns and replaces the conventional nitric acid passivation process, effectively addressing the environmental concerns and severe corrosivity associated with nitric acid passivation. The resulting passivation film exhibits excellent surface activity, chelates iron ions, and enhances corrosion resistance.
3. SY-331 Stainless Steel Organic Anti-Fingerprint Sealer
After sealing, the surface energy of the coating is reduced and the coating becomes more compact, which inhibits fingerprint adhesion. At the same time, it effectively prevents corrosion caused by oils, sweat, or dust in fingerprints, resulting in excellent corrosion resistance of the coating.
4. SY-121 Stainless Steel Pickling Immersion Solution
It effectively removes the blue oxide film from the workpiece surface, replacing the acid‑pickling passivation paste traditionally used. This solution addresses the drawbacks of that method—strong odor, slow reaction rate, and poor performance—while ensuring that the cleaned workpiece can be welded without re‑forming the blue oxide layer, thus preserving its original bright finish.
