Product Description

Electroless nickel–phosphorus alloy plating is an electroless, autocatalytic deposition process that forms a uniform nickel–phosphorus coating on the workpiece surface without the need for an external electric current. Depending on the phosphorus content of the coating, it can be classified as low‑phosphorus, medium‑phosphorus, or high‑phosphorus. The coating exhibits excellent thickness uniformity, high hardness, superior wear and corrosion resistance, and strong adhesion. It can be applied to a wide range of metallic substrates and is well suited for complex, irregularly shaped parts. The coating also offers excellent lubricity and is widely used in mechanical, electronic, oil‑and‑gas, and aerospace components; its hardness can be further enhanced through heat treatment.
