Product Description

The acid- and alkali-resistant anodic oxide film for 6463 aluminum alloy, also known as the anodizing coating for automotive trim components, is a specialized functional anodized finish designed to meet the surface‑treatment requirements of miniature automotive decorative parts. This oxide film generally complies with General Motors’ GMW14669 standard for interior and exterior metal trim coatings, which specifies 11 performance criteria, including resistance to pH 13.5, pH 1 testing, and sequential pH 13/pH 1 testing. It is the preferred process for achieving high‑quality surface finishing on 6463 aluminum alloy automotive roof racks and decorative trims.
