DingxiChromium-free passivation film on aluminum alloy

Send email

Product Description

The chromium-free chemical passivation process for aluminum alloys uses tungstate salts as the oxidizing agent in the surface‑treatment formulation. The resulting chemical conversion coating offers substantial protective performance—exceeding the corrosion‑resistance requirements of MIL‑DTL‑81706 for cast aluminum alloys—along with good chemical resistance and electrical conductivity; however, it lacks self‑healing capabilities. It can serve either as an independent corrosion‑protective finish or as a primer for subsequent coatings.
