In 2014, SanYong Company secured breakthroughs in five patents: two have already been granted certificates, while the remaining three have entered the substantive examination phase, with authorization expected imminently. These achievements are the fruits of our dedicated research and represent the scientifically sound formulations and production processes painstakingly developed by our company’s R&D team.

Among these, the “three‑protection” oxide‑film patent was specifically developed to meet the stringent anti‑corrosion requirements of aluminum and its alloys in harsh environments—particularly in marine settings—addressing salt‑spray, damp‑heat, and mold resistance. It has already been applied to aluminum alloy components on naval vessels and to numerous high‑performance corrosion‑resistant parts in the automotive industry, such as aluminum brake discs and brake pump housings. Aluminum surface‑treatment additives synthesized using this technology are now employed in the production of automotive components. The implementation of this invention‑patent application has yielded significant social and economic benefits. Furthermore, the patented technology has been successfully transferred and commercialized at Harbin Engineering University, with the resulting coated products being used for surface treatment of salt‑spray filters, cyclone separators, and inlet vanes for main boilers.

Two of the patents for electroless nickel plating additives are specifically developed for research and application in the metal surface‑treatment industry, focusing on functional coatings and conversion films. This electroless plating technology has already been adopted in the defense‑industrial sector for products deployed by military units. The implementation of this invention patent has yielded significant social and economic benefits. Furthermore, this patented technology has been successfully commercialized at the Qiqihar Xiongying Group, with its electroless‑plated products now used for surface treatment of revolvers and sniper rifles.
