Hard anodizing
Hard anodizing is a process developed on the basis of conventional anodizing. By carefully adjusting and controlling the dissolution and growth parameters during film formation, the porosity of the oxide layer is significantly increased, thereby producing a hard anodic oxide coating.
Benefits of Hard Anodizing:
The film is extremely hard: its Vickers hardness ranges from 300 to 600 HV, comparable to that of sapphire.
The hardness of a pure aluminum hard coating can exceed 1000 HV.
High resistivity: the breakdown voltage is ten times that of a conventional oxide film, reaching over tens of kilovolts.
Dimensional accuracy is easy to control: it can achieve the same level of dimensional precision as conventional oxidation.
Physical properties: low thermal conductivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion.
In terms of heat resistance, its melting point is 400°C higher than that of aluminum, reaching 1,050°C.
Corrosion resistance: Excellent salt-spray resistance, lasting over 500 hours.

Dimensional Accuracy: The dimensional accuracy of standard hard coatings is guaranteed to be within 2‰ mm.
Aluminum alloy types: all wrought aluminum alloys, cast aluminum alloys containing up to 13% silicon, and various forged aluminum alloys.
Workpiece size range: within 2.8 m in length and 0.9 m in width.
Oxide film category: Type 3
Oxide film color: gray or gray-black (natural color)
Special requirements: localized protection, black coating, and a special sealant for mold resistance, among others.
